In this workshop, we will dive into slow gentle movements to increase self awareness and discover the possibilities of finding ease through life’s transitions. We will use movement as a model for learning, illuminating our habits and unveiling the resiliency which is necessary for change.
Allison Linamen
is a Los Angeles-based Feldenkrais practitioner and Yoga teacher. She is inspired by the innate intelligence of the body/mind and its capacity to realize full potential. Her students are encouraged to cultivate awareness through movement and practice moving slowly to enhance sensitivity. She leads a nurturing somatic practice that fuses functional anatomy with spiritual principles. Her teaching helps students discover inner strength and poise. Allison leads yoga teacher trainings, as well as anatomy and therapeutic workshops year-round. As a Feldenkrais practitioner, she facilitates Awareness Through Movement classes and gives private hands-on Functional Integration lessons. Allison is deeply committed to educating students and providing a space for self-exploration and growth.
