Art show curated by Jesse Mockrin
In this exhibit, married artists Alison Lee Schroeder and Gerardo Camargo explore the physical and psychological space they share in everyday family life.
They speak to us from and of a fluctuating identity that manifests itself in a process of suggestion, modification, surrender, and substitution, in which it becomes clear that nothing draws to a true end, but rather forms part of a continuous cycle.
Through drawings, paintings, and objects, the couple invites us into their personal space, a soup of nostalgia, pain, joy, and humor that is both unique and universal.
