12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Cost
$25 for 1 day/ $40 for both days

Butoh is non-linear and indescribable, free and uncodified. This 2-day workshop will introduce and investigate Butoh, the contemporary performance practice from Japan.

Day One (Saturday, February 9, 12-3 PM) will dive into the exploration of expanded time and flexing the creative imagination. Day Two (Sunday, February 10, 1-4 PM) will advance the work, with the objective of creating a dedicated butoh. While students are welcome to drop in on either day, it is recommended that if you are new to Butoh, you attend Day One.
