Workshop capacity is 30 people. Please RSVP by Oct 19 to firstname.lastname@example.org
teachers, doms, babies, lovers, patients, curators, killers, employees, elders, prostitutes…what is care?
this is a workshop for people who are able and willing to be wrapped (approx. 20 min) and wrap others snuggly in fabric. the entire experience/workshop will last about 90 minutes.
as a workshop experience “the multifarious nature of care” rests somewhere among self-care and death embracing practices. designed to give participants an immersive embodied perhaps pleasurable experience while engaging concepts of care, death, hopelessness, radical ways of being together, new age parody…we will be swaddled and swaddle each other and hopefully there is enough space and yet intention for people to have their own trips and thoughtful experiences with this material. it’s also super cute and pretty fun.
keyon gaskin prefers not to contextualize their art with their credentials.
Big Thanks to IMTour for funding this weekend at Pieter with Adee Roberson and friends.
