The Women’s Center for Creative Work and Pieter are excited to host Amy Von Harrington and Eden Batki for a Daytime Dance Party! They will provide the music, and visual cues for a afternoon no pressure dance party. If zumba and five rhythms had a cousin that never met, it would feel like that introduction. Familiar with potential. There will be snack opportunities provided by Eden Batki. The disco will be sound curated by Amyvh & Eden with a 15 minute crystal bowl cool down. Make your body move. It’s lunch time.

WCCW, or The Women’s Center for Creative Work, is a Los Angeles-based network of rad women engaged in conversations about contemporary feminisms & creative practices. In our most tangible incarnation we are a women-lead creative coworkspace. On a broader level, we are an enabling architecture providing professional, emotional and artistic nourishment for female driven creative projects.
Since our founding in November 2013 we have built a network of over 1,500 women committed to supporting each other socially, creatively and economically and building the structures (physical and transcendental) that maximize connectivity and empower us collectively.
The project is simultaneously the work of its main collaborators –designer Kate Johnston and producer Sarah Williams– as well as a platform for our growing community’s ideas, works and projects. Through our Nodes Program we incubate kindred projects by providing insight, consultation, and access to our network.
