PiETERLATES is your time to get bodied, y’all. This is a Pilates class for dancer people and non dancer people, dancers who teach Pilates and want a break, Pilates newbies, moms, your roommate who has back pain, OPEN TO ALL LEVELS!
A place to share our knowledge and deepen our practice. To move and prepare to move more. We will “work-out”, I will try out my hippie imagery and say the things I can’t in a traditional class, curse and laugh and ask questions. We will do the tiny exercises your PT told you to do every morning that you think are too boring but will help a lot, with humor and support. Strengthen, lengthen, tone, all that shit.
Bring your special requests and injuries too.

April 3 will be guest taught by Samantha Mohr
is a dancing performer and Pilates teacher and recent NYC transplant. She is certified in Pilates through the Kane School of Core Integration, having studied with Kelly Kane. Other influences are Kathy Grant and Irene Dowd. She has worked with students of all levels and has experience with osteoporosis and degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, chronic neck and back pain, students living with MS, and has certifications in Pre and Post Natal Pilates.
