Offering Description: Care Rituals for Fall Magic is a space to provide low-cost care services by and for our Black and Indigenous Women, Trans, Intersex and Gender Non-conforming (BIWOC and TIGNCBIPOC) activists and organizers of color from gender justice & intersecting movements. Individual and collective healing sessions available - including facials, cupping, acupuncture, tarot, reiki, sound bath, and movement.

What to bring/expect: High filtration masks required and provided (n95/kn95/kf94 etc.) *Rapid test required for facials, which have an option to unmask; we can provide these for folks who RSVP for a facial. We will be hosting an optional community altar for anything anyone would like to contribute! (requesting that it's something that can either be brought back home or gifted to someone, as long as it's not left at the studio) We recommend comfortable clothing, a water bottle, a journal, a mat or blanket to lie down on if desired, and anything else needed to be comfortable indoors. *Practitioners will also be accepting tips via cash or payment app!

Bio: We Still Move (formerly Critical Mass Dance Company) cultivates wellbeing, resilience, and joy through movement and the healing arts. Our trauma-informed work is by and for women, gender-expansive and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals from Black, Indigenous and Communities of color. Our offerings celebrate both ancestral wisdom and emergent practices, creating embodied spaces to reconnect with ourselves and each other. Founded as CMDC in 2010, Sophia Kozak (she/her/ella) and a dynamic group of activist women envisioned a space for self and collective care through dance. Their embodied movement emerged into Dance From The Heart (DFTH)--a moving meditation practice inspired by the elements for affirming individual and collective visions. Since then, we've co-created dozens of free/low-cost DFTH programs designed to support the collective care of our communities. In 2024 we transitioned into our new name as a reflection of our founding and enduring commitments to collective dreaming and liberation.

Accessibility note: Respectful of pronouns. Short sessions. Requesting fragrance-free attendance from attendees (although we cannot guarantee it). Foam earplugs and eye masks available upon request. Limited padded seating available.

The space is located on the 2nd floor with one flight of stairs directly up from the entrance. Elevator access is available; please email pieterpasd@gmail.com prior to event if you will be using it. The elevator is spacious enough for any mobility device and the 2nd floor space is free of any steps or mobility barriers. There are no automated doors in the building.

There are two all-gender restrooms with three private stalls and a urinal. Each restroom has one stall accessible for mobility device users.

Free parking is available directly behind our building at 2412 Workman Street. There are two additional free city lots south of Broadway on Workman Street. There is also ample metered parking in the neighborhood.
