About: Open Studio happens every second Saturday between 12pm-3pm and provides FREE studio space and unstructured time to share space together, dance, chat, socialize and see what happens!

LA Love Acupuncture is a monthly series of free community acupuncture for Queer/Trans, BIPOC, Immigrants, those affected by LA fires, and folks who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access regular Acupuncture care. This offering aims to create a consistent collective space of body/mind/spirit resource, processing, and healing as we collectively navigate natural/political disasters and fortify our networks of connection and mutual aid. Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine can support stress, anxiety, body pain, digestive issues and so much more. It also helps move blocked and stuck energy, fortifies the body’s innate ability for self-healing, and restores a sense of balance.

What to Bring: It’s suggested that participants wear loose, comfortable clothes, have eaten something that day, bring any props if desired that would make you comfortable to lay down. We will provide chairs, and some limited mats, blankets and pillows.

LA Love Bio: We are a rotating group of Acupuncturists who have experience working with diverse communities and are grounded in social justice values. Paolo Flores Chico, L.Ac. and Jenny Garcia, L.Ac. will be hosting the monthly clinics. Both Paolo and Jenny have almost ten years experience organizing accessible Community Acupuncture Clinics for Queer/Trans, low income, immigrant, and racial justice organizers.

Cost: FREE and open to the public. No RSVP Required for Open Studio, drop-ins welcome! Acupuncture will be limited to 20 participants per hour PLEASE RSVP TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT. Limited appointments will be available for walk-ins if space alllows.
