Description: We are ecstatic to invite you to come check out the new Pieter Space, reunite with some old friends and meet our floor-mates Gender Justice LA and APAIT.
Drop in anytime from 2-8 pm; we will provide snacks, beverages, art supplies, space to stretch & move, music, and the return of the FreeBoo (free boutique). Space activations are planned for 3pm, 5pm and 7pm. You are invited to bring a potted plant (on wheels if it’s large), items for our FreeBoo and your favorite shelf-stable snack or tea for our community kitchenette.
Parking: Free parking is available directly behind our building at 2412 Workman Street. There are two additional free city lots south of Broadway on Workman Street. There is also ample metered parking in the neighborhood.
Safety protocols: Masks are required for this event and will be available upon entry. To accommodate our higher-risk community members please wear a mask while not eating or drinking.
Accessibility note: The space is located on the 2nd floor with one flight of stairs directly up from the entrance. Elevator access is available; please check in with our door-greeter and they will assist with operating the elevator. The elevator is spacious enough for any mobility device and the 2nd floor space is free of any steps or mobility barriers.
There are two all-gender restrooms with three private stalls and a urinal. Each restroom has one mobility device accessible stall.
